Okay– One of my favorite menu items that Carriage House has is the: Smoked Salmon Cheesecake Torte. It is abosolutely scrumptious. I am always asking Chef Jeff to make it. (there is a reason I am not skinny) So great news: He has shared the recipe and I am going to share it with you.
Smoked Salmon Cheesecake
2# cream cheese
1# Smoked Salmon
1 cup Parmesan Cheese
3 Tablespoons Saoy Sauce
1 Cup 1/2 & 1/2
Blend first 4 ingredients until smooth in mixer. Slowly add 1/2 & 1/2 and soy sauce. Pour into plastic lined spring form pan and bake in water bath at 325 degrees for 40 minutes or until set. Cool over night and serve wtih boiled egg, caviar (several types to add color), capers, chives and sour cream.
Yummy! Thanks Jeff at Carriage House for sharing your secret. And if you are like me and will never get around to making it you can always order one from them.
I love all the new ideas brides are getting from Pinterest. Our bride last week Michelle, said she found this guest book idea. Each guest was asked to sign a rock and the bride is going to display them in a large vase in her new home. It was a lot of fun for the guests as they came into the reception, we just had to be careful not to break the glass vase.
Bride was carried back down the aisle by her new hubbie
Got to love the shoes—wow!

And a good time was had by all.
